Front view of a grey stone head with almond-shaped eyes, a long nose and a thin mouth — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C04557. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A grey, speckled stone head seen from the front, with a rounded skull, deeply outlined almond-shaped eyes, a long straight nose and a thin horizontal mouth. The chin tapers to a point and the head ends in a short, rough neck stub. The surface is pitted and worn, and the head stands on a pale surface against a plain light backdrop.
