Description

A pottery sherd photographed on a plain pale background, with a band of stepped key-like pattern across the top and two horizontal bands below it. Beneath the pattern is a painted human head in profile facing left, with short dark curled hair and a small ear. The paint is flaking in places, and the lower edge of the sherd is broken, so the figure's body is cut off.
