Description

A carved limestone head of a bearded man is shown frontally on a square block base against a draped cloth. The eyes have heavy outlined lids, the mouth is small, and the beard is cut as rows of curls covering the jaw. The headdress is a wide twisted band with a leaf or wave pattern above, and the stone is pitted and weathered with a small chip at the forehead.
