Mounted photograph of a stone scarab from Ayia Irini, shown against a pale background — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C04346e. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A close photograph, mounted on a pale card with a narrow border, shows a small dark stone object with a rounded, domed upper edge and a flat base. Its surface has lighter streaks and a shallow carved line running across the middle, with a small vertical mark near the top. The object fills most of the print against a plain pale background.
