Marble Sculpture

Description
A carved marble head turned three-quarters to the viewer's left, with wavy locks of hair combed back over the top and sides. The face has a straight nose, full lips and lowered eyelids, and there are small marks and wear on the neck. The neck ends in a flat, broken base, so this is a fragment, photographed against a plain black background.
