Terracotta Minor Plastic 2. AR

Terracotta figurine of a standing figure with one arm raised to the head and a worn, encrusted surface — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C03507. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A small terracotta figurine of a standing figure, photographed frontally against a pale background on a card mount. The rounded head has lost most of its facial detail, and one arm is bent up toward the head on the viewer's left. The torso and hips are modelled in low relief, the surface is pitted and encrusted, and the lower edge is eroded at the base.
