Limestone Proto-Cypriote, Ar.

Description

A limestone head with a broad face, heavy-lidded eyes and a small mouth, shown frontally against a pale background. The hair is carved as rows of curls over the forehead and beside the ears, rising to a flat-topped block above, and the head sits on a plain base. The stone surface is pitted and weathered, with blue pencil-like marks visible on the face and neck.
