Pottery Red Polished III jug (L.322D.30)

Description

A small jug with a rounded body, a tall narrow neck and a loop handle rising from the shoulder to the neck below the broken rim. Its grey surface has incised horizontal bands around the neck and shoulder and a chevron pattern with further bands on the lower body. The jug stands alone on a plain light background and casts a soft shadow, and the print is mounted on a pale card with a narrow border.
