Tool with a loop from Marion

Description
A long, bent metal tool lies on a pale grey card, with a closed oval loop at its upper left end and a curved shaft running right and then down. Its surface is dark, pitted and corroded, and a small lump sits near where the loop joins the shaft. Handwritten numbers are written in ink on the cream mount below the card.
