Pottery Red Polished II Jug (L.307.10)

Description
A globular jug with a tall cylindrical neck, a pinched spout at the rim and a strap handle running from the shoulder to the top of the neck. The dark surface has incised lines filled with light pigment: horizontal bands on the neck and shoulder and large hatched triangular panels across the body. Cracks and small areas of surface loss are visible, and the jug stands on a pale base against a plain grey backdrop.
