Limestone sculpture from Vouni with a cylindrical top, a large oval relief area and a small knob on the left side — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C02983. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A limestone sculpture photographed from the front against a pale grey backdrop and set on a light surface. The upper part is a cylindrical block with a flat top, and below it a large smooth oval area stands out on the right side, while a small rounded knob projects from the left. The body narrows slightly toward a square base, and the rough, weathered stone surface shows pitting throughout.
