Limestone Cypro-Greek II head (K. 381 C.M.)

Description

A carved limestone head with a rounded cap covering the top, a ridged band across the forehead, heavy almond-shaped eyelids, a broad nose and a faint smile. The ears are visible on both sides, and the neck ends in a broken, rough surface resting on a dark base. The head is photographed in grey tones against a plain backdrop, with the surface pitted and worn.
