Description

A porous limestone head seen in profile facing right, its neck cut off flat at the base. The hair is carved as rows of rounded locks and curls over the forehead and crown, with a raised band crossing the head. The facial features are worn and the surface is pitted; the head rests on a wooden support against a plain grey backdrop.
