Description

A single pottery jug stands on a plain surface, with a short spout projecting to the left and a strap handle rising from the shoulder to the rim on the right. The globular body and tall neck have a mottled surface of pale and darker patches, with a rougher band across the upper body. The plain pale background and soft shadow beneath the vessel isolate it.
