Description

A cleared, level floor of pale earth in an excavation, bordered on both sides by lines of stones and rubble. Scattered stone blocks lie across the open ground, and a cluster of broken fragments sits at the lower left beside a wooden stake. Banks of excavated earth rise behind the cut, with a bush on the ridge and low hills beyond.
