Description

A sunlit excavated area with a flat, dusty floor in the foreground. Low rough stone walls run across the left and a dark earth-faced wall rises on the right, with a narrow cut or gap in the ground between them. Behind, a band of excavated earth and rubble forms a spoil heap, with a large tree and scrub on top against a pale sky.
