Description

A tall vertical face of dark, layered soil fills most of the frame, with rounded stones lying along its top edge. In the foreground a rough, pale surface of earth and loose stones slopes down toward a stone-edged cutting at the right. Behind, low earth banks and spoil heaps rise to a single tree against the sky.
