Excavation at Ayios Iakovos with stones

Description

A corner of an excavation trench, with two vertical soil faces meeting at the left and back. A band of loose stones and rubble runs along the top of the back face, and below it a layered, streaky deposit of soil rises to the upper edge. The trench floor at the bottom of the frame is pale, sandy and gritty, and no people or tools are visible.
