Pottery White Painted III-1 (L.404.6)

Description
A large two-handled pot with a wide mouth, a thick rim, a rounded body and a short ring foot. Two loop handles rise from the shoulder to the rim, and dark painted bands encircle the body with a triangular motif of parallel strokes at the centre front. Fine cracks run across the surface, and the vessel stands on a pale surface against a plain backdrop on a cream card mount.
