Pottery jug from Marion with a single loop handle and cracked body — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C01857a. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A jug with a single loop handle, a flaring rim and a rounded body stands on a flat ring base against a plain grey background. Cracks run across the shoulder and belly of the vessel, and its surface looks pale and slightly mottled. The print is mounted on a cream card with a border, and a number label is visible along the lower edge.
