Description

Broken fragments of large terracotta figures lie scattered across the floor of a shallow excavation trench, with pieces of limbs, bodies and heads mixed together. Some fragments are hollow and show broken edges, and a few show modelled detail such as hands and drapery. The trench sides of packed earth frame the scene, and a small round object lies near the lower right.
