Excavation at Ayia Irini, in situ find

Description
Viewed from above, many broken pale clay pieces lie scattered in the excavated soil of a trench. Fragments include a long arm with a hand, a small head with a face, a tall cylindrical piece with holes, several vessels and a shallow bowl. Edges of the trench and loose soil surround the finds, and no people are visible.
