Description

Many pale clay figures lie crowded together in a dug pit, photographed from above. Several standing figures wear tall conical headgear, some figures are seated, and animal shapes, small limbs and fragments lie among them. Cylindrical stands and a broken round dish sit between the figures, with earth banks and a large stone at the edges of the excavation.

Description, scan 2
A high view down into an excavation square where large numbers of terracotta figurines, some of them larger seated and standing figures, lie among broken vessels and fragments. Figures with conical or cap-like headdresses and some animal-shaped pieces are scattered in clusters along the sides of the cutting, while the floor of the square is bare earth with stones. Rock and earth banks frame the edges of the excavation, and no people are visible.
