Soil profile in the eastern part of the Bamboula, Kition

Description
A vertical face of excavated soil fills the back of the trench, dark and crumbly, with pale stones set in a row across its upper part. At the bottom, a flat surface runs across the foreground, and a curved edge of darker soil cuts into it on the right. The surrounding walls of the cutting rise steeply on both sides.
