Description

A thick vertical earth section with layers of soil and small stones fills the upper part of the photograph. In the foreground, squared stone blocks stand in an excavated trench, with a block on a stepped base at centre and a rougher stone block in front. At the far left, trees and open ground lie beyond the edge of the cut.
