Description

A view looking down into a deep excavation pit with earth walls on both sides. On the pit floor lie a large dark stone block, a small rounded object, a curved object and scattered small pale finds. The shadowed lower part of the pit makes the objects hard to read in detail.

Description, scan 2
A dark excavated pit at Kition, seen from above, with its earthen walls showing layers of soil and stone. Several stone pieces, including a larger block with a rounded top, lie on the pit floor among small fragments and pale pebbles.
