Description, scan 2
A large rock outcrop rises above a low ridge of pale, broken ground, with a rough spoil heap of loose earth and stones in the foreground. A group of about a dozen men stands before the rock face, some in caps and light shirts, while others bend and crouch at its base and along the right edge. Grass grows in patches across the stony ground under a hazy sky.
