Description, scan 2
A single ring, shown large in a small trimmed print with a dark, thick band that forms an open loop. A ribbed or segmented section sits over the upper part of the band, and the ring stands out against a pale, plain ground. The print is mounted on a card with handwritten notes visible at the top and bottom edges.
Description, scan 3
Four separate photographs of a thick, smooth metal ring are arranged in two columns on a pale card mount. In each view the ring is turned differently, and one end shows a ribbed or coiled section. The rings are shown against a plain pale background with no scale or people visible.
Description, scan 4
A dark, ring-shaped object forms an open loop that overlaps itself, with ridged or segmented sections along the upper arc and tapering ends. It is shown against a pale background on a print mounted on a cream card, with partly legible handwritten notes along the top edge.
Description, scan 5
A pale print with cut corners is mounted on a cream card, with handwritten notes along the top and bottom edges. The print shows one thick, dark ring with a lighter inner area and a few small dark marks along its upper inner edge. The edges are soft, so the ring's surface detail is hard to make out.
Description, scan 6
A single dark ring, seen at a slight angle, lies against a plain white background on a small cut-out photo print. Its surface shows bright highlights along the upper edge and a narrower overlapping section at the right. Handwritten notes appear above and below the mount.
