Description

A wide excavation with pale cleared ground and low walls of stone and mud-brick standing in the foreground and middle distance. Spoil heaps and rubble line the edges, and a small open box of finds sits at right. Flat-roofed buildings and a few trees stand on the rising ground beyond, under an empty sky.
