White Painted I bowl (L.420.27), a round vessel with a loop handle and dark painted bands radiating from the centre of the body — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C00335. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A round, closed-bodied vessel with a small loop handle rising from the top, photographed straight on against a plain grey background. Dark painted bands run out from a central point on the body: the vertical and horizontal bands are filled with a dotted pattern, and four plainer diagonal bands lie between them. The surface is pale, with a few small chips and flecks.
