White Painted I bowl with two handles and dark painted bands, photographed on a card mount — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C00154. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A shallow bowl with a wide open mouth and two small horizontal handles set on the upper body. Dark painted bands run around the rim and inner edge, and two broad dark bands with a thin pale band between them encircle the lower body above a low ring foot. The surface is worn in places, and the bowl stands on a pale surface against a light backdrop, with faint handwritten marks at the top of the card mount.
