Bronze suspension fitting with hooks, area south of the rampart

Bronze suspension fitting, incomplete; L. of intact element 9.8 cm, l. 1.6 cm, thickness 0.1 cm. The fragment has two flat tabs widened at their centres, each with a circular appendage at its end pierced by a hole. A third similar tab ends in a trapezoidal appendage, also pierced by a circular hole. The three elements are joined by a figure-of-eight link, and from the end of one tab, linked by a figure-of-eight link, hangs a large simple hook of circular-section wire. Une troisième languette similaire est munie à son extrémité d'un appendice trapézoïdal percé lui aussi d'un trou circulaire. Les trois éléments sont reliés entre eux au moyen d'un maillon en 8. A l'extrémité d'une des languettes, et relié à elle grâce à un maillon en 8, pend un grand crochet simple fait d’un fil de section circulaire.
