English, translated from the French record

Fragment of a head, left edge, of a veiled female figure perhaps an officiant of the cult, Classical period, with a central frontal of curly hair under a turban, the veil over it and a start of a calathos above. The ear-ring is barely sketched, in the usual form: a flat stud and a shapeless pendant. Beige fabric, hollow-moulded, height 9 cm; the hair is partly worn away on the surface, and the fragment probably belongs to a mould taken from the head Sal_2307. Salamis, south of the rampart, square K VI/δ4; inventory Tc_2038; 12 September 1969.
