Mould-made hollow terracotta head of the Great Goddess wearing a calathos, from the area south of the rampart at Salamis, square K VI/δ4; inventory Tc_0367, negative 00921_06. The head is incomplete, with the nose broken and the left edge and top of the calathos missing; the pink fabric has a poorly preserved yellowish-white slip on the left, and the calathos has a row of concave pastilles with central dots, decorated in relief. The oval face has a round chin, wavy hair drawn back, serpentine parotid locks, barely drawn eyes, and a bead necklace at the neck, with flat pastille earrings. Period: Classical; height 9 cm.
