Object card: 1968. Mission archéologique française de Kition-Salamine (MOM, Lyon), Nakala, SAL_3768. "Terracotta draped standing female figurine, Classical, area south of the rampart". CC BY 4.0. Resized.
Fragment of a hollow-moulded terracotta draped standing female figure, from the left edge and central part below the waist, without the back; red-brown fabric with dark grey core and beige surface (slip?), with purple-red paint in places. Width 7.6 cm, height 6.6 cm; a fold of cloth gathered into three large round folds rises obliquely from below the waist to the left, and the rest of the fragment has broad recumbent folds at the centre and irregular vertical folds in strong relief at the edge (one with a V-shaped point); the join is poorly made, overflowing onto the surface where folds are reduced to ridges of clay. Classical period, square K VI/γ4, Salamis; inventory Tc_1169; slide C_3673; negative 00575_03; 13 September 1968.
