Pestle in finger form, white marble, incomplete and slightly broken at one end; L. 8.4 cm (as given: l. 8,4), H. 7.1 cm. The nail and the folds of the first phalanx are indicated, and the slightly convex active face is polished; found near coins of the 3rd century AD, Elagabalus (Sal. 3552-3557) and Carinus (Sal. 3549), Salamis, Cyprus.
