Head of the Great Goddess with calathos, a plain calathos type with headdress, from the area south of the rampart, square K VI/δ4, Salamis, Cyprus; beige fabric, hollow mould-made, Classical period, with the back smoothed, the calathos broken on the left side, a vent hole in the calathos and heavy wear. The complete head with the start of the neck is very crudely made, H. 7.8 cm; the face is very worn, with only the nose visible, flattened by wear; hair in a continuous frontal roll; calathos slightly concave with an indistinct lower edge, and earring pendants are barely discernible.
