Hollow terracotta head of the Great Goddess with a calathos, H. 8.1 cm; inventory Tc_0229. Only the outline of the oval face remains, the face having been completely torn away; the calathos is indistinct at its lower edge, and the back is broken at the base and strongly convex; the head is incomplete, with the calathos broken at the upper right. Beige, dark-cored paste, moulded hollow; the decoration is complex, similar to that of Sal_4452, with small ring-and-bead motifs, ovolo, a bead band, a striated band and relief crenellations, and a sketch of an earring on the left.
