Object card for SAL_1128, Rampart sector, Classical period: a mould-made hollow terracotta figurine of the great goddess in her various aspects, shown holding a doe, now incomplete, with the back missing, the left half of the bust with forearm and hand, and the doe whole except for the broken right front leg. Height 12.7 cm, width 6.8 cm; grey fabric with beige-orange slip, numerous surface breaks. The doe is carried in the crook of the goddess's right arm and on a very long hand with distinct, tapering fingers; she wears a tunic and a shawl-like mantle falling from the right shoulder, with a bracelet at the wrist. Biche portée dans le creux du bras droit replié (jolie courbe dessinée par l'avant-bras et la main) et sur la main très longue aux doigts effilés, distincts, la paume posée sur le ventre de l'animal dont la partie postérieure disparaît sous le coude. De profil gauche, elle présente une tête allongée aux oreilles écartées tendues en arrière, tout contre le sein gauche. Cou légèrement conique. Il semble que la patte antérieure gauche soit repliée sous elle.
