English, translated from the French record

Moulded hollow terracotta head of a veiled woman, complete with the start of the neck, H. 10.4 cm, with traces of red paint in the hair and on the veil; the figure is perhaps a cult official ("agent du culte"). The face is rather rounded with faint features, and the hair forms a continuous frontal roll down to the ears, with a thicker second roll representing either hair or a wide turban (perhaps), over which a thick veil is set far back on the head. Clay grey with orange slip; surface chips on the nose and mouth. From the Rampart sector of Salamis, squares K V/δ10; β23. Inventory M_0100 Tc_0100; 26 September 1966.
