Roman moulded lamp, Type 11 (cf. Sal. 425), with a decorated medallion, from Campanopetra, Sondage D, square K V/β9. Complete; yellow clay that has turned grey at the back, without slip or glaze; height 2.1 cm, diameter 5.5 cm, length 9.2 cm, base diameter 2.5 cm. The base is marked with two concentric circles; the medallion is separated from the rim by a raised circle, and the spout is in the shape of a ship's anchor. The rim is decorated with triple ova, and midway between that circle and the filling hole a second circle defines a ring decorated with raised, radiating, converging ribs.
