English, translated from the French record

Unmoulded figurine of a horse head, very worn, with solid modelling, H. 3.5 cm, pink fabric, incised eyes and a suspension hole at the top of the head; complete? head only. Its form and the unusual rendering of the eyes are very particular, and it is very possibly without a corresponding body, since the suspension hole suggests it was hung somehow, perhaps a kind of pendant-amulet. Campanopetra, Salamis, Cyprus, square K V/γδ9; C 23 (α); inventory Tc_0024; 16 October 1965.
