Dec 8Worked on chariots most of the day, with Christos help. This evening I catalogued the pieces of heavy and "soapy" terracottas which are joined or preserved so as to come anywhere near completeness. The other work went on as usual. Joins (workroom only) 14. Dec 9: Euthymios requested out the harness all day and Nikos worked Curium, depleting the workroom force. Christos continued with chariots, I proceeded to pack up in preparation for my departure, with the moving in view. All "soapy" pieces were put into drawers of the large case, separated by small sticks. Likewise all heavy and unusual terracottas have gone into drawers - I spent the morning in marking them with the p. 96 system. Workroom joins: 13 Dec. 10: I commenced the catalogue of the stone objects today. Christos made final repairs. The large pieces are left on the shelves, the small pieces put in a cabinet drawer in order. General preparation for packing took up the day, I announced that this would be the last day of joining No. of joins: 18. Dec 11: Sunday.
