Dug from E. Nov 21, 22, 24 E square pier with 1/2 col to W seems in situ as does also 44 x 44 col NE. SW appears to be a little tilted. Between wall & E-NE & next to NW debris included usual buff sand & a quantity of tile frgs. So SW of col NW nearly as ordinary in upper part (ttn on level of bench). Lower pieces from c 25 below top of bench also many tiles Lower part of parse slate frgs much fewer & smaller & small shapeless stones frgs of chavara to numerous. * tb/39 frgs. Continues (3d purse) down to floor .05+ below stylobate. 0.40 NW of NW col a rectangular block c 40 to 30 from the top of NW wh long enough (1.95) to have been an epistyle: wld have reached from col NW to anta or into N-S wall
Between cols NW & NE & E a very bad irregular wall built after NE very badly [broken?] & NW [tips] a bit to E besides being worn.
29 Nov.Lamp-whole except spout - p.s.w. in broken earth under bench +05+ from floor back .05+ from front line of seat flank of SE & ch .27 from E leg of bench. L 131
1 Decremove wretched wall between E & NE & NE & NW with its projection from it into porch SE of col NW. Red earth containing tile frgs & very small frgs stone +10 to +20 above stylobate had accumulated before wall was built. Same accumulation to 25- from floor under the extension into porch, incl. large frgs of big pan tile. Top of the extension as we found it a jamb block (15+31) x 95-
