May 26Pavement block Π on axis of Ch III crowds stylobate further, upper part to a bit N. of its proper inner line & gives room for stylo block to broken under one at NE corner where it is .625 from stylo front line. At NW it is 60 & is whole. This pave block rests lower part on stylo further, & above, with upper course of stylo further. Space between it & street pave blocks outside is enough for stylobate, a little out of line

Margin left: E-W. wall in Colonnade?

Preparing cols & lifting & shifting them where they interfere with reconstruction of stylobate discovers fondtn c .55 wide c 2.65 - 3.20 from front of Bldg parallel with it & stylobate. It was clearly at only its present height say c .30 - .50 below stylo & thresholds when cols & wall fell. Plaster of latter lies directly on it in many places as also several of the col drums. Clear this wall to supported had been entirely removed before the destruction of the Bldg & Colonnade
