[sketch#9 fully [illegible]] and seven pots and the neck of another (unguentaria) which disappears into earth under large sherd at side. There are two other fusiform unguentaria (?), two \#6,7 small flasks like a fusiform unguentaria cut short at bottom (such as were found last year in Tomb 5), a \#2 bottle or jug (no handle visible) with longish body, narrow neck, \#5 flaring rim, a jug (?) with a root(?) horn on the shoulder, neck not \#4 visible, a somewhat larger jug neck not visible. All these pots save the two \#3,8 abbreviate unguentaria are partly overlaid by fill with bones on top. These two may be then the latest. Of the bones, two skeletons distinguishable in order as not moved after decomposition. They lie side by side longwise to the tomb. The one next Tomb 1 has partly fallen into it, as if upper right side lay over the break. One of the abb. \#3 ung. lies by its right thigh. with some as yet unidentified white as scour object. The other skeleton was the former of one of the large bones resting on its shin. Presumably it was superseded by the first described. The second

150 (4/VI/41) abb. \#8 ung. lies just beyond its feet rather high on the discard pile. Then this skeleton was then covered by sand on lower part - possibly shoved to prepare for another burial - before its decomposition. (5/VI/41) Beyond, toward NE wall of tomb, 2 legs lying parallel to 2 other skeleton, possibly remains of a third next to which the arm \#10 lies. Between the legs, bit of red clay(?) distinguished

The more complete skeletons lie close on bones in disorder, which are piled particularly high at back and preserved side of tomb. If there were others higher over the break, they may have been the unexplained lots found high up at N end of Tomb 1.
