The so-called small doorway appears not have been a stoma but the blocking up of a breakthrough - no doubt accidental - in the common wall separating the tomb in the north part of 20:15b from the tomb in the south part of 20:15b. The stratification of the south scarp of the trench is virtually as regular as that of the west scarp (p. 122) and shows that the mud bricks fell flat and evenly. The stone wall appears to built flush, against the bed rock formation of the north half of the trench.

The latter has the light gray green color of that found at this depth in 20:15a. It is -1,53m. The S. wall had no foundation trench and rests directly on bed rock. In the north part of area adjoining the wall there was no red earth, and the mud brick layer went directly to bed rock.
