27.4.39 Dig below 6.61 and find a burnt layer at 6.68. This layer is rather uneven, with many fragments of burnt brick. Photos Bam? 39.117-5 at 6.68 Dig below 6.68, through a deep layer of burnt debris, and begin finding quantities of pottery in situ, on a floor, at 6.91, of hard burnt clay.

28-4.39 Actually the pottery goes below the 6.91 level. Dig below 6.91, through firmly packed earth with a great deal of ash, finding the floor, of bed-rock and xapápa plaster, at 6.74. The pots rest on this. A small pit in the N-W is cut from 6.91 (Is it?) Photo Bam. ? 39.122-3 of 21:18 at 6.94
