25-4-39Tomb 30

Clear a cist grave at the east end of tr. 28. It lies over the (21:295.) chavdra floor of the L.C. III house, in a corner of a bed-rock cutting; its eastern side delimited by two cut stones. Two large cut stones to the north may have covered the grave. In any case the walls of the grave were originally higher. Nine pots were found. The large amphora (?), p. 120: 1, contains the burnt bones of a child. No other bones are found. Photo Bam. '39. 102
