Clearing intrusions in 16:15 we reach a large cave in the north. It may have been a tomb, but from the masses of L.C.III pottery in it, particularly pithoi, it appears to have served as a cellar at the time of the houses. The plunderers went into it, but it is not yet certain how much damage they did.
